Thank you using one of our LiveTime apps! We are here to help you with any questions you may have.
Below are a couple of advanced LiveTime for OS X features that people occasionally have questions about.
Setting Up External Access
In order to access a clock outside of your local network, you will need to setup a Fully Qualified Domain Name. When setting up Port Mapping, make sure to note that LiveTime uses TCP Ports 1901 – 1908.
Creating a Default Server List
One of the great features of LiveTime is that you can quickly load a default list of clocks by simply entering a URL.
In order to create your own list, simply download the Sample XML Document and open it in any text editor of your choice.
Now all you have to do is replace the sample info with your info and upload it to a location on your website (i.e. myDomain.com/LiveTimeClocks.xml). Now, anyone who wants a quick list of all your clocks simply has to enter “mydomain.com/LiveTimeClocks.xml” in the connection panel.
